Pakol Festival


In 2009 the Pakol Festival of Santa Catalina

has surpassed the performance of the 12 

contestants from different cities and towns 

of Negros Oriental and again won the 

championship for the Buglasan Festival of 

Dumaguete.

Simultaneously, the group reaped the

awards for Best Choreography and placed

second in the Buglasan King.

A year preceding that award, the Pakol

Festival took part in the world-renowned

Sinulog Festival of Cebu and won a

special award representing the Province

of Negros Oriental.
